Kentucky faces a substantial cancer burden. I spent four years at the University of Kentucky’s Markey Cancer Center helping researchers and public health professionals further their goals and initiatives.

I synthesized highly technical research and distilled it down for people across the Commonwealth of Kentucky to highlight the importance of early screening and detection. My work included content editing, grant and manuscript editing, social media design, web design and upkeep, presentation design, email marketing campaign development and so much more that helped spread the word of Markey’s impactful research.
